Big or small, in pink or gray bag, your make up collection won't be complete without a few basic things. Once you discover them, you will hardly function without them, at least as far as makeup.
A set of good brushes. I have talked about brushes on several occasions. There are a few basic brushes without which you will find hard to apply your make up. More on the basic brushes that you need read in our post about the brushes.
Eyelash curler. Until recently I haven't used it. And then I bought one and I was reborn. Let's be realistic, no mascara on this world, no matter how huge her brush is, won't twist the eyelids and open your view like you are going to achieve with the eyelash curler. Curl them in a hurry - one click at the very root of the lashes, one in the middle and one at the top for that magnificent arch.
Good mascara. Once you curled your eyelashes, all you need for the full effect is a good mascara. If your lashes are long enough, but don't have volume, use large brush, such as Maybelline Colossal or Max Factor false lash effect, and for short lashes try, for example, L'Oreal Beauty Tubes and L'Oreal Telescopic. Apply mascara in a single layer from roots, moving it from side to side as you progress towards the ends, and then, while half dries, put some more on the peaks.
Foundation. I've already talked about foundation in one of the articles. With foundation it is essential that you don't apply too much (to cover the major deficiencies, use concealer after foundation), and to choose the perfect shade, and a formula that suits your type of face.
Lip Balm. There is nothing worse than cracked and dry lips. Forget the lipstick - it will accumulate in the crevices and look very ugly, especially if it is a darker shade. Rescue your lips with a good lip balm, but also at least once a week, while brushing teeth, gently brush the lips to remove dead cells.
Blush. Once you have covered every irregularity on your face, it looks very dull and lifeless. So make sure you apply a little bit of blush on the tops of cheekbones (which you will discover when you smile). Use creamy blush without or after you put foundation, and the one in stone if you use powder. If you have pale skin, use pink shades, and for a darker complexion would suit more peach and shades of brick.
Eyebrows set. Under this we mean, or a small eyebrows palette, or eyeshadow in the shade of your hair + slantwise brush, or a well-tapered eyebrow pen and shaver. If you have an eyebrow color that stand out from the color of your hair or eyebrows that are thin, irregular, this is definitely a must have.
Mirror. This may not go into the category of cosmetics, but certainly it is very important in make-up. The best option is self-standing mirror with two sides and one has a zoom (avoid it if you have problems with skin, except when you do your makeup). I have a round Revlon mirror, which has a built-in light around the mirror, so I can do my make-up in the dark. Set up mirror near the source of daylight - I hold it on a table by the window. That way you will avoid putting to much makeup.
Red lipstick. Yes, you are a girl for red lipstick. All you need is a little confidence and adequate shade. You once put a friends red lipstick and after that you never tried it? Wrong! Try several shades and put it on for a Saturday night out. If you have a fair complexion, choose coral shades, if you are a medium dark choose one that has a pink undertone, and if your have dark complexion choose dark shades, such as burgundy. Don't overdo with eyes makeup when you wear red lipstick.
Wet wipes. Except for removing makeup, keep them near while you apply makeup. Use them to clean brushes, moistening brushes (for applying wet eyeshadow), erasing any possible errors and dirty fingers from eyeshadow so it doesn't end up on your face. You do not need expensive wipes - buy a pack of children wipes. They are much cheaper than cosmetic, and if they are good for the baby's butt - they are good for your face.
Ear sticks. There is always a pile of ear sticks by my cosmetic mirror. I use them primarily for the correction when applying a liner (dampen it with wet wipes), mascara, red lipstick ... And you can use them for smudging pencil or applying eyeshadow (for example, in the inner corner of eye and below the eye).
Without which cosmetic product you can't live? As for me, it would be foundation and mascara.
