We take care of our teeth, lip balm or lipstick, and we're good to go. But there are times when our attention switches, usually when we realize we feel pain, or find an inflammation of any kind on our lips.
Tips to help:
- Drink lots of water, well-hydrate the skin, including lips.
- Avoid harsh weather conditions. If this is impossible, remember to always protect your lips with a lip balm.
- Try using lip balms regularly. If you wait until you have chapped lips, the recovery may take longer.
- Try not to lick your lips or remove skin with fingers. It irritates the skin and inhibits all the effort we invest in lip care products.
